Pilot Parents
– matching parents who have children with any special
need with trained volunteer parents to help them with
the life changes involved in parenting a child with
special needs. Training for volunteer mentor
parents will be held this spring.

Opening Doors
– helping families who have children with special needs
with child care concerns including child care and
respite care. We also provide training for child care
providers to better equip them to care for children with
special needs including Project EXCEPTIONAL training
sessions.

Sibsday Events
– special events held 3-4 times each year for children
who have brothers and sisters with any special need. The
purpose is to recognize the unique role siblings play in
the life of their brother or sister with special needs. Children ages 7 years through 12 years of age are
invited to participate.
